Getting married in Turkey as two foreign nationals
In order to get married in Turkey, foreigners must obtain the ''Certificate of No Impediment'' and Birth Certificates from the authorities in their home countries. The documents are then processed by their Embassy or Consulate in Turkey; and the marriages are conducted only by a Turkish official. Please note that a marriage that would not be legally approved in the home countries of the bride and the groom cannot be performed in Turkey.
The required documents for a civil marriage in Turkey are as follows:
* Name Change Declaration (if any changes to names)
* Full (Standard) Birth Certificate (with parents' names)
* Passport
* Decree Absolute (if married before and divorced)
* Death Certificate of spouse (if married before)
